We are Linen & Quince. A Germany-based company, founded in February 2021, by Christina Ernst. We sell products from fair and sustainable on-demand production. Which are also shipped in the most environmentally friendly way possible by producing them as close as possible to the place of delivery. We are always striving to improve our standards.
We run an informative blog on the topics of interior design, fashion and lifestyle. Our main interests are vintage-inspired furnishings, antiques, art, culture, sustainable, high-quality, elegant fashion. healthy lifestyle, healthy, mainly plant-based diet, anti-aging, beauty. Household organization and much more.
We also operate an online shop on our website and are represented with other shops on various other platforms. Various products with our designs can be purchased in our shops. To do this, we work with an on-demand producer. This means that the goods are only manufactured from the time the order is placed.

We are working on further expanding our delivery areas. So if we don’t ship to your country right now, it doesn’t mean it will stay that way forever. Feel free to visit us again at a later date, maybe we will deliver to you in the future.
There are many different reasons for this. We cannot deliver to countries where armed conflicts are currently raging. We do not deliver to other countries, at least at the moment, because bureaucratic hurdles have to be overcome before we are allowed to deliver to these countries. This can concern, for example, location-specific packaging regulations or tax collections. We may be able to deliver to these countries at some point in the future.
This means that we do not first order a large number of products from a producer, have them produced by him (for example in China), then have them delivered to a warehouse, store them there and then try to sell them. This type of goods logistics was operated for many years, but led to the fact that the high costs for logistics and storage had to be saved elsewhere. These were mainly the quality of the products, which often became increasingly deteriorating and unfortunately the production costs. This means that workers are not paid fairly and often have to endure undignified working conditions.
On-demand means that we, or our producer, only manufacture the goods after we have received the order. Therefore, the goods can then preferably be produced there, or as close as possible, to where they are to be delivered. We therefore do not produce in Asia. Only the raw product components can come from e.g. China. The advantage of this type of production is that it is more sustainable, environmentally friendly, fair and economical. It is not overproduced and no unnecessary resources are wasted. People in many parts of the world have fair and secure jobs that meet Western standards and laws. However, this type of production is a bit more expensive in principle, we can’t compete with fast fashion prices, but we don’t want that at all. Quality and fair working conditions have their price and this is justified in our eyes. Apart from that, it takes a little longer for the goods to reach you than with conventional production and logistics. But we think that, due to the advantages mentioned above, it is still the better option and the few days of waiting can be coped with.
This depends on the item ordered, your delivery address, the production facility and the total volume of orders at the time. We or our producers will always manufacture where it is most efficient. The production takes 1-7 days. The duration of the delivery also depends on which delivery option you selected when ordering. You can see the delivery options live in the shopping cart and have different options to choose from. This can be express delivery, which takes about 1 day. Or, for example, the standard delivery, which takes 5-7 days.
Please note that the times for production and delivery add up. For example, if you order a product that is ready after 2 days and have chosen express delivery, you can receive your order after 3-4 days. However, if your order takes 7 days in production and you have chosen the standard delivery, you may not receive your order until after 14 days.
When ordering, you will be shown a delivery period or select it, depending on the selected shipping option. If you only see the standard shipping and no other shipping options, then unfortunately these are not available at the time. This is actually day-dependent and can vary for a variety of reasons. We have no influence on this either. You will also receive a shipment tracking for your order, where you can view the status of your order or delivery at any time.
Don’t panic. First of all, please check your shipment tracking again. If it says that the delivery has taken place, but you have not received it, then first try to find out to whom exactly it was delivered. Maybe it was a neighbor or family member and you just haven’t received the notification yet. Please also note that we are not liable if your delivery has been lost because you had given a drop-off authorization and your package may have been stolen by a third party. If your order has actually not been delivered and this is also evident from the shipment tracking. Then please send us an email to support@linenquince.com, we will make sure that you get a replacement as soon as possible.
That’s a shame, but of course it can happen. In principle, this is possible. But before you place the order, please think carefully about whether you really want to have the things, as they are made especially for you. In this case, please declare your revocation to us. You can or must do this by e-mail to support@linenquince.com or via this revocation form. The revocation must be received by us within 14 days of receipt of the order. If your order is delivered in multiple, separate packages, these count 14 days from receipt of the last package. We will then let you know that we have received your revocation. You will find the respective return address on the delivery note that is enclosed with your package. Please be sure to use the return address given there.
The goods must be returned to us or the return address provided for this purpose within 14 days, complete, in unaltered condition, at your own expense. We will refund the amount paid to us upon receipt of the goods, including the original delivery charges, but only if these were the low standard delivery charges. The refund will be made within a maximum of 14 days. Please handle the goods with care. The items will be checked upon receipt. If they have been handled improperly and are damaged, we will offset this loss in value against the payment amount to you.
