Verification of reviews
We check the reviews we receive using the following mechanisms:
Manual verification
Every incoming review is viewed and checked manually. We check the content of the evaluation for logical contradictions and other anomalies, among other things.
Manual sampling
According to the same standards, we also carry out random checks of individual comments that have not yet been pre-filtered elsewhere.
Plausibility check
As soon as an assessment contains abnormalities based on our checking mechanisms, a more detailed manual review of the individual cases follows.
All reviews filtered out in this way or reported by users are checked by our team based on our review guidelines and subjected to a general plausibility check.
For the plausibility check, we take into account the customer’s entire rating behavior and also take an insight into the content and metadata (e.g. IP address, device ID, date) of the rating. Here we check whether the purchase and evaluation of the product are related to each other in time and space and whether there are contradictions in content. In this way, we investigate the question of whether the customer actually bought and used the product.
Consequences of the review
In the event that the content of the review indicates that the review does not correspond to the product being reviewed, we will try to contact the authors of such suspicious reviews in order to be able to verify the statements in their review if necessary.
If the circumstances become clear, the assessment will be adjusted accordingly. If the circumstances for the assessment remain too vague and unclear, the corresponding assessment remains filtered out. It will no longer be displayed or even published.
All ratings filtered out in this way are not included in the overall rating shown.
There is no stricter filtering of negative reviews or preference for positive reviews. As long as a review meets the above criteria and our review policy, it will be published equally, regardless of whether it is worded favorably or critically.
Rating Policy
We would be very happy if you would like to rate our products. In order for your review to be published, we ask you to follow the following guidelines when submitting your review:
- The review may of course contain your opinion and, if necessary, criticism. Any form of discrimination, defamation and insults will not be tolerated and the review will then be deleted accordingly.
- It is not allowed to advertise other products in reviews. This also means that they are not allowed to refer to an alternative product from another retailer.
- We do not allow reviews from so-called product testers. You must not have received any financial compensation from third parties for the evaluation. We definitely never commission reviews for monetary or material compensation.
- Reviews must be based on their experience with the product and must be truthful. Any form of untrue claims and attempts at manipulation will not be tolerated.
- If our rating guidelines are violated, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently block user accounts and ratings submitted by them.
